Reveling in the Revealing Beauty

I’m sitting at my desk, working, listening to TobyMac’s “Made to Love”, and chatting with A Cowboy’s Wife, my friend Ginger, and eBeanstalk’s CEO, and it struck me:
God is Beautiful.
Oh, I know, that’s trite, redundant, and to non-believers, a waste of a post. That’s ok. I’m a little bit over myself, and sometimes it feels like Something bigger than me is writing with my hand.
In the meanwhile, all the good things that come your way today: your child’s smile, the sudden recognition of how damn GOOD that cup of coffee tastes, or the fact that someone came to help you when you were in a pinch today, or that not a single door closes without a better, bigger one opening.
And if nothing good comes your way, just look outside your window and find the beauty outside it. It’s there, I promise, it just takes some imagination to see it sometimes.
Third Day has a song entitled “Show Me Your Glory”, and I think today this was God showing me a little peak inside the box.
