Vacation starts tonight!

Ack, how’d that get here so fast??  It’s been an awful week, but I did have SOME breakthroughs:

-on worldbuilding for my novel: Just DO it.

-on me as a writer: Hey, I can write anything!

-on my albatross of a home: It’s an answered prayer.  I prayed for good neighbors, I got ‘em.  I prayed for options and care for my kids, I got ‘em.  I prayed for a big-ass flat, usable piece of backyard, I got it.  I prayed for a cosmopolitan-ish suburb filled New Yawka’s and Jerseyites, I got it.  Ok so I was a D.A. and forgot to pray for a house I love and one other major thing that is a real wrench in the works.  Nobody’s fault but my own.  Add to that, I prayed Chris would get a great job and he did, even though it’s still kind of far.  AND I prayed the daycare lady wouldn’t be there this morning so I wouldn’t have ta kill, and she wasn’t.

BUT who cares!  My food poisoning is gone, my bank account is balanced (DON’T ask), most of my bills are paid, and 24 hours from now I will be in Florida, God willing on a brief date with Hubby to see The Happening.  Pray for our safe flight both ways and peace among the family as we fly.  (What, you’ve never flown with preschoolers before??  AHHHAHAHAHAHA!)
