Universe Calling…

Ok, perhaps it’s because I’ve tuned into the channel of “My Purpose Here on Earth” but I just got goosebumps because of a divine connection I just heard and I wanted to share.

I’ve been going on lately as you know about becoming a writer.  I’ve subscribed to a bunch of podcasts and today was the first time I tried “Will Write for Wine“.   Today was a workshop about writing rules.  It ended with one of the hosts, Lani, discussing writing to get published vs. writing because IT’S YOUR CALLING.

I’ve been torn about this because my husband, God love him, doesn’t really get this and he wants to know what kind of money I’ll make as a full time writer.  (You can snicker, it’s cool, remember I’m talking about writing FICTION full time.)    She concluded with the only thing she has to offer is herself, that is, her voice.

“All of your beauty lies in the things that only you know, and your beauty is the one thing that you have that no one else on this planet has.”

WOW.

In my mind, I’m connecting this to the realization of how unique we are in God’s eyes, and my other awakening last year that to God, we are beautiful – all of us.  And this unique beauty that we all carry inside of us is to be manifested in our calling, and that is our purpose here.

It all just come together with a beautiful red bow on it just now for me and nearly knocked me out of my chair.  It all makes sense now:

write what you know. live your purpose. dream big. embrace your beauty. trust your God.

That’s my prayer for the day.  I can feel God smiling and smacking me on the back.  “Good job, Gina, now get to it.”
