Giveaway: 100% Bamboo bag & Stainless Steel food container
This contest is now closed. Winner will be picked this weekend. Thank you to all the participants!
This week’s giveaway is something a little different! During the schoolyear, New Wave Enviro sent me a bamboo lunch bag, and a stainless steel food container. Amelia has been using these products – and I love them!
The lunch bag is made of 100% bamboo – and, oh it is soft and luscious. God forbid there is ever a lockdown at school, Amelia can certainly sleep on it! But more importantly, it is light-weight, durable, and both anti-bacterial and hypoallergenic. (Who knew that about bamboo?) Plus, it’s environmentally conscious – bamboo is the fastest growing plant on earth. (One caveat… don’t wash this product! Yes, it’s right on the label, but I was too busy to look. It only shrunk a little, but I won’t make that mistake again! The second product is a stainless steel food container, making this a great lunchtime combo. One thing I really like about it the container that I no longer have to worry about crushed PB&J sandwiches! It’s also super-easy to clean and completely non-toxic.
This package has made lunch prep easier and, of course, fits right in with Amelia’s 7 Generations School. I’m betting that this combo is also a really good product for kids with food allergy issues.

This is great! I keep trying to reduce as much waste as possible. I even make my family reuse sandwich baggies that are still in good shape.
Very nice! Thanks for the chance.
I’m trying to buy things with less packaging and take my lunch and coffee to work in reusable containers.
What a great idea!

Oh I would feel so much better packing lunches in this set up than the current Igloo coolers.
I recycle and have gotten everyone else in my house involved in recycling as well. My mom has even started recycling. I also use reusablel shopping bags.
I purchased a ton of reusable containers when I got married – I was so excited about sending my husband to work with earth friendly containers. Unfortunately – the lunch-boxes I got were really small and came open really easily. SO we’ve been using old bags. This would be oh so nice. I’m also composting in my little apartment and growing veggies. It’s small…but it’s how I’m trying to contribute to the greening of the country…
All the kids use random containers (i.e. old dip or cream cheese containers) for their school lunches, since the “nice” ones we bought disappeared over the previous school year. I know they’d all love a stainless container (but I think mom or gram would claim it….)!
I love the idea of a renewable resource bag, and goodness knows we all want to get away from plastic containers! This is a great giveaway! Thanks
We are avid at recycling and using re-usable resources in our home!

Love this giveaway!!!!!!
I am recycling more. I have been online this week figuring out how to re-use some items, and where to bring my old computer to have it recycled properly. We also limit water. (reminding the son to turn off water when brushing teeth)
We have a timer on water heater, using re-usable bags for shopping, and only buying second hand clothes for a year. Trying to see if i can make it a whole year just buying my clothes at thrift stores…so far so good!
We use as many reusable items as possible — very, very few disposables.
Thanks for the great giveaway. I try to be as green as possible and I have a green group called Green Earth Green Home on Cafe Mom.

This looks great! thanks for a chance at winning it!
We use cloth napkins (actually burp cloths) instead of paper napkins.
Very nice! I recycle as much as possible!
Thank you-we go through lunchbags fairly often. Would like to try this one.
We try and recycle, reuse or re-purpose everything! Thanks for the giveaway chance!
