Great Weekend!

Man did we have fun! God Good things from this weekend (although “God things” works too):
- Found new church, thanks to
- New neighbor friends, who
- Came here to my humble abode with some other neighbor friends, who
- Invited us other neighbor’s Memorial Day party, where
- We had a blast.
- Went to Iron Pigs ball game
- Bought hot, sexy shoes (not to be outdone by my good friend) for the unbelievably Kohl-ish price of $10.99. Will show photo when I take one & paint toenails.
- Bought hot, sexy shirt to match. Yes, I matched a shirt deliberately to shoes. The straight guys read this are now going “Wha-aa??”
- Had awesome Outback dinner tonight.
At the restaurant, Chris kept yelling at Zoe because the child BEHIND US kept doing Zoe Screams. Yea, and he’d say it really loud, like, “Zoe! Stop making that racket!!” To which I’d say, very quiet-like, “shhh. that’s not our kid yelling…”
Did anything bad happen? Of course. You know that dark forces are messing with your head when you walk into the model home that you were cheated out of, were lied to about wanted and it’s filled with your couch set, exact same color and trim, and your cabinets. And yes, I’m PAINFULLY SPIRITUALLY aware that in some parts of the world, about 100 people could live in my home, happily. And that I’m beyond this, and it’s stupid, and it’s greed, and I ain’t taking this house to the afterlife. BUT I still had to say a whole bunch of prayers that I can find happiness in this dumb lovely house, and find a way to fit all the people I want to have over.
Sigh…wish I was more mature. Did I mention the shoes?
