How does this benefit a military family?
On 11/19/12, a fire broke out in a duplex on Fort Lee, an Army base in Virginia. Two homes were affected, in one a father and his 2 year daughter died. The other household, run by single mom with 6 year old twins and a 3 year old, who serves her country and her family, was fortunate to escape with their lives but lost everything. Operation United Hearts was formed to help bring them some joy this Christmas. Please visit their Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/groups/OperationUnitedHearts/ . So far, they’ve collected $300, plus toys, books and more for the family.
