What are some symptoms of adrenal fatigue:
- Waking up after a full night’s sleep still tired.
- Severe allergies.
- Wacky period.
- Upper back and neck pain.
What can you do to prevent adrenal fatigue?
Adrenals are related to stress, so of course one of the most important things you can do is to de-stress yourself. Here is a list of suggestions to fight adrenal fatigue:
- Go gluten free.
Those glutens are weighing you down anyway.
- Get some sleep.
I know it’s hard, especially when you have a child who cannot yet sleep through the night, but strategize a plan to get sleep.
Meditate. Pray. Drop your child in respite care. It’s critical that you find time for yourself.
- Get on a good multivitamin for women.
By “good”, I mean one without a lot of junk or additives. I’m using a women’s supplement from a brand called “Pure Essence Labs“, which is gluten-free, vegan and made with whole foods.
- Get on a good adrenal support supplement.
I’m using Adreno-Plus by Health Products Distributors. Ask at your health food store.
- Take care of your allergies.
Fight them in advance. I’m on a supplement, but there are numerous home remedies you can use too. Not only that, but remember that allergies are aggravated by dairy, chocolate, caffeine, alcohol, and wheat products.
Adrenal fatigue is real and it hurts. Your kids needs to you to be at optimal health. It’s like when you’re on an airplane and they tell you to make sure you put your air mask on BEFORE you put it on your child. We often forget, so go ahead and take care of yourself now!
