This week the kids were very excited when a package came to the door and, even though it was addressed to mommy, it was for them.  Who had arrived? The Alphabeasts!

What are The Alphabeasts?  They are plush toy monsters, each with a letter on his (or her) back and front. The little beasts quickly made their home in our family:

Help! There are Alphabeasts on my couch!!

They are a different color on the other side, and the small lettered Alphabeasts are, appropriately, smaller than these capital letter dudes.  My daughter is very into monsters, so this were perfectly cute & cuddly for her.  They are great to snuggle with, and small enough for the car (maybe a little big for an airplane, though the baby letters would certainly work).    I also learned this morning they are fun for mommies to juggle!  They all have different names:

Wombat
Gumblegoop
Obaboo
Zipperzoom

Right now, in fact, my speechless little girl is turning them over & over, shouting out their letters!  We got tripped up pronouncing the names and wondered how kids would manage, but of course, kids are gonna call ‘em whatever they want!  Alphabeasts also offers a book series based on each character as well.  I enjoyed these plush toys.  My only regret? I got the ‘Z” and the “O”, too bad they didn’t send me an “E”!
